Course Structure
What a typical AITI year looks like.
Workshop hours
Direct work on tools and machinery — welding bays, electrical labs, computer suites, CAD stations and drafting tables.
Applied theory
Trade-specific calculations, safety codes, drawing reading, and the math and science that underpin the skill.
Industry attachment
Final-term placement on a real worksite — refinery, contractor, workshop or factory — coordinated by the placement cell.
