The Institute
A vocational institution built for the trades of Assam.
Affiliated with the State and National Councils for Vocational Training, registered under the S.R. Act XXI of 1860, and recognised by the Engineering and Management Institute of India.
The Assam Industrial Training Institute opened in Bamunimaidan to do one thing well: turn out skilled workers the region's industries actually hire. Seventeen years on, that mandate is unchanged — just sharper. Today's workshops add CNC, embedded electronics and CAD/CAM to the traditional anvil and arc-welder. The certificates remain government-issued.
We are a registered institute run by the AITIPP Education Council, and we exist for the student whose name nobody has heard yet — the one whose first paycheck will change a household's trajectory. That is the only metric of success we keep.
Workshop-first pedagogy
70% practical, 30% theory. Students touch real tools from week one — no extended classroom prelude.

Admissions 2026
Four steps. One enrolment.
Applications for the 2026 academic session are open. Most ITI courses begin in August. Diploma and degree programmes follow the standard Assam state academic calendar. Submit the online form, sit for a basic counselling round, and the rest is paperwork.
